The Cleeve Material Handling journey
1988
Foundation of Cleeve Material Handling
Cleeve Material Handling was established in Stroud to provide solutions to issues associated with the bulk storage and handling of powdered and granular products.
2009
Acquired by Don Valley Engineering
Don Valley Engineering Co. Ltd acquired Cleeve Materials Handling to bridge the gap between DVE’s heavy engineering work in mining and quarrying and its lighter malting operations. The acquisition provided Cleeve with financial stability, advanced technical support and opportunities to expand its product range and plant design capabilities.
2010s
Strengthening Capabilities Through Collaboration
As part of the Don Valley Group, Cleeve’s integration allowed both companies to diversify into new sectors while supporting DVE’s machine building and installation divisions. This collaboration further enhanced the group’s ability to deliver complete, end-to-end engineering solutions.
2022
Relocation to Doncaster
The decision was made to relocate Cleeve Materials Handling to Don Valley Engineering’s headquarters, uniting operations under one roof and strengthening collaboration between the two teams.
